The Senator Nenadi Usman-led National Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party has thrown its weight behind the Chief Ugochukwu Emeh and Barrister C J Okoli-Akirika-led Anambra State executive’s decision to boycott Saturday’s Local Government election in the State.

GWG.ng reports that the Anambra State chapter of Labour Party had opted to boycott the election, saying that “the process violates the Electoral Act.”

The National leadership specfically said that it “is on the same page with the Anambra State chapter on the proposed local Government election.”
