Crossdresser Stripped In Abuja (Video)

An unidentified crossdresser was recently harassed and stripped in Abuja.

A viral video circulating online shows a group confronting the individual over his choice of outfit.

During the confrontation, as questions kept coming, the crossdresser insisted, “This is how I dress at my place of work.” He further stated, “This is what I prefer wearing.”

Despite his explanation, the crowd continued to follow him, hurling derogatory comments and making aggressive gestures. Eventually, the crossdresser was forcibly stripped by the Abuja crowd before being allowed to leave. He was issued a stern warning not to wear such clothing again

This incident of how the crossdresser was stripped follows the tragic death of another crossdresser in Abuja, known as “Area Mama.” In August, ‘Area Mama’ was found dead along the Katampe-Mabushi expressway. His body was discovered in a pool of blood with visible scratches and bruises, and his belongings were scattered nearby.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding these incidents, but the events have sparked concern within the community about the increasing harassment faced by individuals due to their appearance.

While many will express concern that the crossdresser was stripped by the Abuja crowd, others will be lamenting the growing culture of negative behaviour.
