Controversial social media critic, Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), found himself at the center of attention after his NGO account surged from ₦70 million to ₦170 million overnight through a N100m donation from Don Jazzy.

Alarmed by the sudden increase, VeryDarkMan immediately called on authorities to investigate the situation, fearing potential trouble or foul play before it was finally revealed the money was from Don Jazzy.

In an unexpected twist, music mogul Don Jazzy reached out to VDM today, revealing that he was the one behind the significant deposit. Don Jazzy explained that the generous donation was made to support the good work VDM has been doing through his advocacy efforts.

This revelation has sparked major discussions online, as netizens recall VDM’s earlier criticism of Don Jazzy. Back in August, when crossdresser Bobrisky was released from jail, Bobrisky publicly listed celebrities who financially supported him, and Don Jazzy was among those mentioned, contributing ₦4 million.

VDM had openly dragged Don Jazzy, along with other celebrities like Yhemolee, Tiwa Savage, and Victor Osimhen, accusing them of endorsing questionable behavior by supporting Bobrisky. The donation from Don Jazzy has now led many to speculate that this act of kindness may have been a way for the music icon to settle the feud between himself and VDM.

Interestingly, after the backlash, Bobrisky later deleted the post where he mentioned the names of his celebrity supporters.
