Seven Teams Secure Qualification For 2025 AFCON In Morocco

Seven teams have already qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

GWG.ng reports that the competition for a spot in the prestigious tournament is becoming more intense as the qualifying matches continue.

Matchdays Three and Four have been filled with exciting games, as teams from 12 groups battle hard for a chance to participate in the continental tournament.

So far, Senegal, DR Congo, Algeria, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Egypt, and Angola have secured their spots in the tournament.

The final two rounds of qualifiers are set to take place next month, with more teams competing to join those that have already qualified.

The 2025 AFCON will begin on 21 December 2025, with the tournament concluding on 18 January 2026.
