Emotions As Homeless Star Actress Appeals For Help (Video)

Nollywood actress Ramota Adeotu, widely known as Aunty Ramota, has made an emotional plea to Nigerians for help after experiencing severe setbacks with her management and living situation.

In a video shared by popular philanthropist Agiye Amira, also known on Instagram as Isaamira Food Bank, Aunty Ramota was captured tearfully narrated her struggles and pleading for help. She revealed that she is currently homeless. According to the actress, she was recently asked to leave her accommodation by a helper who got married and needed privacy in their new home.

Her challenges, however, did not end there. Aunty Ramota disclosed that a benefactor who was helping her in building a house had abruptly stopped due to personal reasons, leaving her construction project incomplete.

Compounding her distress, she alleged that her management stole all her earnings and went as far as deleting her social media accounts, including TikTok, which was a key source of her income and visibility.

Expressing her frustration and helplessness, the actress said she had worked tirelessly, only to be taken advantage of by her management, who she claimed exploited her lack of knowledge about the revenue generated from her work.

“I’m currently stranded without accommodation,” Aunty Ramota lamented. “The lady I was staying with got married last month and asked me to leave because her husband wasn’t comfortable with me staying there. The man who was helping me build my house stopped due to personal issues. To make things worse, my management stole all my money and deleted my TikTok and other social media accounts.”

She further explained that despite her circumstances, she is determined to finish building her house. Aunty Ramota shared that someone had offered to help her rent a place but she declined, hoping instead to complete the construction of at least one room so she can have a permanent place to stay.
