Primate Predicts Terrorist Strikes In FCT, 6 States
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning on Friday to Nigeria’s newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Olufemi Oluyede, about an impending terrorist attack.
According to Ayodele, terrorists are planning strikes between December and February in several states across Nigeria.
In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele specified the states that are at risk: Abuja, Imo, Plateau, Niger, Katsina, Borno, and Benue. He urged caution, saying, “From December to February, there will be more insecurity casualties, and I don’t want people to start killing our soldiers; they don’t deserve to die, let them take caution before this time.”
He further advised the Nigerian Army to “do a cleanup and follow these terrorists back to back” to prevent attacks in these states, stressing the importance of military readiness. Ayodele also warned that a smaller terrorist group was emerging, which, with proper action from security forces, could be eliminated. However, he cautioned that terrorism could escalate and cause significant crises in 2025 if immediate action isn’t taken.
Primate Ayodele reflected on his past warnings to the Nigerian Army under the former Chief of Army Staff, where he predicted the rise of a new terrorist group. He emphasized that the fight against insecurity is not only a physical battle but also a spiritual one. He urged that both spiritual and military efforts be combined.
The prophet also predicted that a much larger and more dangerous terrorist group, a coalition of Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, and Hezbollah, would emerge. He warned the Nigerian Army to prepare for this new threat and advised the new Chief of Army Staff to listen to both divine guidance and the advice of experts. “The new COAS should listen to the word of God and listen to fools and knowledgeable ones too,” he added.
