Crazy, Police Shoot 21-Year Old Man For Rejecting N200k Request (Video) -VDM

A 21-year-old man was reportedly shot by policemen for refusing to give them N200,000, according to a video shared by Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on his Facebook page.

The video, posted on Sunday, showed the young man lying in a hospital bed.

VeryDarkMan explained that the incident took place in Kubwa, which is in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. He shared the video along with a description of the events.

He wrote, “21-year-old boy shot by the police yesterday in Kubwa, Abuja because they requested 200k and he didn’t have it.” He also expressed concern about the rising danger, asking, “Are we going to be running away from thieves, armed robbers, and kidnappers, and still be running away from the Nigeria Police who are supposed to be protecting us?”

VeryDarkMan continued, stating, “This thing is getting crazier by the day. Just look at this young boy on my screen who was allegedly shot yesterday. This boy said they met him, and next thing, they were asking him to bring N200,000.”

He called on the Force Police Public Relations Officer and the FCT Police Public Relations Officer to thoroughly investigate the incident.
