The French Embassy has officially opened applications for its prestigious 2025/2026 scholarship program, offering students the chance to pursue a Master’s degree in Management at a public university in France.

The scholarship program in France provides comprehensive financial support to help talented candidates advance their education in one of Europe’s top academic destinations.

Scholarship Benefits

Recipients of the scholarship will enjoy:

Monthly Stipend: Support for living expenses.

Travel Support: Round-trip transportation to and from France.

Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage during the study period.

Housing Assistance: Help in securing affordable student accommodation.

However, applicants should note that tuition and registration fees, capped at €4,000 per year, are not covered by the scholarship and must be paid by the students.

Eligibility Requirements for the France Scholarship

To qualify, applicants must:

  1. Be under 30 years of age.
  2. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Management.
  3. Have completed National Service (NYSC) or an equivalent program.
  4. Demonstrate academic excellence, with First Class or Second Class Upper honors preferred.
  5. Commit to pursuing a Master’s program in France starting from the 2025/2026 academic year.

French language proficiency is not mandatory, making the scholarship accessible to a wide range of students.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted through the Études en France (EEF) platform. The process includes:

  1. Registration: Create an account on the EEF platform.
  2. Document Submission: Provide the following:

A valid international passport (minimum two years validity).

CV and personal statement.

Academic certificates and transcripts.

NYSC certificate (or equivalent).

Recommendation letter (optional but advised).

  1. University Applications: Apply to a maximum of seven public universities or Institutes of Business Administration (IAE) in France.

Important Dates to Remember

December 1, 2024: Application deadline on the EEF platform.

January 8, 2025: Academic interviews begin in Lagos and Abuja.

February 25, 2025: Deadline for Campus France interview payment.

April 2025: Applications reviewed by universities.

July 2025: Visa applications commence.

September/October 2025: Academic year begins in France.
