Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has accused the management of Cool FM and Clout Africa of blacklisting her music due to her absence from one of their events.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Alade claimed that both platforms have been holding a grudge against her for over a year.

The 35-year-old singer said her songs were removed from their platforms and that her apology for missing the event was not accepted. However, she did not provide specific details about the event or when it took place.

Yemi Alade expressed her frustration, writing, “My God, BIG PASS YOUR WHOLE station @cloutafrica @CoolFMNigeria, keep on forming gate keepers and taking my songs down. NA GOD BE MY LABEL AND MANAGEMENT, we go meet for front. Fake people wey dey feel like small gods.” She added, “Me, I no dey find trouble O. She continued to criticize the platforms, saying, “Una dey carry person for mind …. for 1 year @cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria shameful, very shameless.” She then told them to take down her entire catalog, stating, “Take down my whole catalog from your stations @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica…. God go still give me food. You’re beefing an artist for 1 full year, over your event. I didn’t go, too. I apologized and even called your oga him dey form oga no even reply my text.”

Alade further stated that the grudge started in December 2023 and has continued into 2024, saying, “Dem dey carry beef since last year December 2023 …… @cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria till December 2024 …… God keep us alive hold on that beef abeg. FAKE FAKE FAKE PEOPLE. BADBELLE IS ALLOWED.”

At the time of the report, neither Cool FM nor Clout Africa had responded to her allegations.
