“I Trust My Husband, But Not 100%” – Toyosi Effiong

Nollywood actress Toyosi Effiong, wife of Daniel Etim Effiong has shared her thoughts about trusting her husband after seven years of marriage.

While hosting her husband Daniel Effiong on her YouTube podcast, ‘The Toyosi’, she responded to his question about whether she trusts him completely.

Toyosi Effiong explained that while she trusts her husband to a large extent, she cannot say it is 100%. She said, “Do I trust you a hundred per cent? No, but I trust that you will always keep me in the loop.” She further added, “I’ve spent these years with you, I know you to a large extent and I’m getting to know you better.” Toyosi acknowledged that while she trusts Daniel to honor his vows, she is aware that unexpected things can happen. She concluded, “And I feel like if anything ever happens, I would know.”

Besides Toyosi Effiong’s claim on her husband, in another piece of news, Nollywood actress Faithia Williams addressed a colleague who blocked her on social media. In a viral TikTok video, Williams spoke to the unidentified person, saying, “Hey, they said you blocked me. Please, if you blocked me on earth, did you block me in heaven?” She further questioned, “Or even if you blocked me, did the God I serve block me?”

Though Faithia did not mention the name of the colleague, Nigerian journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus speculated on Instagram that Williams was addressing Funke Akindele. The rumor suggested that the fallout between the two actresses occurred after Faithia skipped Funke’s ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ movie premiere, reportedly as a response to not attending her father’s funeral.
