Repent Or Be Snuffed Out, Group Warns Terrorists
The Ayudantes Empowerment Initiative, AEI, has advised terrorists, bandits and other criminals to turn a new leaf or be snuffed out by troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The group gave the advice during a Peace, Unity and Development rally in Zuba and Dei Dei in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday.
Executive Director, AEI, Amechi Chuks Oyema who spoke on behalf of the Group advised Nigerians to turn down every overture from sponsors of terrorism, banditry and other crimes as the end will be calamity.
The Executive Director commended the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Chris Musa for approving the recent tour of operational theatres by Defence Correspondents, saying revelations from the tour show troops are successfully dealing with security challenges.
“Just recently, journalists went to the North East, North West, South South and South East. Reports from the visits show we are winning the war.
“The Journalists came back with cheering news from the tour. In the South South, oil thieves are being dealt with. In the South East, our troops are having victory over IPOB and criminal tendencies that make that zone dreadful. In the North East and West, it is cheering news.
“You can not be doing your businesses if we allow evil people to overrun our country. If you are not doing your businesses, how can you fend for your families back home?
“If the country is in disarray, it will affect everyone of us. The plan of the evil people is to make us be destabilized.
“Off course, we know they are being sponsored by some people who don’t wish us well.
“For all those who don’t want us to have peace, our troops will snuff you out of your hiding place, no matter how long it takes. That is why you must repent and change your ways.
“We will only have a peaceful country when we work with the Armed Forces of Nigeria to ensure peace.
“AEI will use this opportunity to commend our troops for all they are doing for our country. We are behind you and will continue to pray for you!.”
