Governor Pleads For Help As Mother Dies
Hajia Maryam Namadi, the mother of Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, has passed away with the governor pleading for prayers and support to the family.
The news was shared through a statement from the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel. The statement confirmed that she died early on Wednesday.
Her burial is scheduled for 4:30 PM in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, following Islamic burial rites.
Governor Umar Namadi and his family have asked for prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul and have requested that sympathizers keep them in their thoughts during this difficult time.
