A newly married woman has sparked conversations online after sharing her struggles with marriage, particularly the pressures of constant intimacy with her husband.

In a post that has gone viral on X (formerly known as Twitter), the woman candidly described how her husband’s frequent desire for intimacy has left her physically and emotionally drained. She revealed that her husband often becomes upset and distant whenever she declines his advances.

“Since I got married, my body hasn’t had any rest,” she wrote. “When you say no, they frown and won’t talk to you all day. But the day you say yes, you’ll suddenly become the sweetest mango on the tree.”

She further expressed that while marriage has its sweet moments, the unrelenting expectations around intimacy are among the most challenging aspects. “Marriage is sweet, but this constant knacking is one of the hardest parts. Whether you’re well or not, in the mood or not, as long as ‘boss’ is in the mood, you’ll have to please him,” she added.
