Manchester beats City Chelsea

Manchester City bounced back with a commanding 3-1 victory over Chelsea in a thrilling Premier League encounter at the Etihad Stadium.

The match saw City dominate possession, controlling 59% of the ball, while Chelsea struggled with just 41%.

In the dying minutes of the game, Chelsea tried to create something with several attempts, but failed to push through to City’s goal. In the 87th minute, Phil Foden capitalized on an easy chance and found the back of the net, with Erling Haaland providing the assist.

This goal sealed the victory for City, who were firmly in control throughout the match.

Chelsea struggled to break down City’s defense, despite efforts from players like Noni Madueke. The Blues’ attempts to claw back into the match were thwarted by solid defending from City, who remained untroubled for most of the second half.

As the match came to a close, Chelsea made a few final attempts but were unable to convert, with their shots off target and a lack of final-third quality. Manchester City’s defense, led by Josko Gvardiol and Manuel Akanji, held strong, and the final whistle blew with City earning all three points.

This victory is a significant boost for Manchester City as they look to maintain their top-four aspirations in the Premier League.
