Nigerian music legend 2Baba has responded to comedian Basketmouth’s remarks about his highly publicized divorce from actress Annie Idibia.

In a now-viral video featuring fellow comedian I Go Save, he jokingly lamented how 2Baba and Annie’s divorce saga had taken over social media, overshadowing publicity for his event.

Reacting to Basketmouth’s take on the situation, 2Baba took to his Instagram story, sharing a photo of the comedian and captioning it: “Allegedly jokes are not apart anymore. Basketmouth goated.”

The post has since sent the online community on frenzy, with fans speculating whether 2Baba was subtly addressing the humor surrounding his personal life or simply acknowledging Basketmouth’s comedic prowess.

In a statement released on Wednesday night, the suspended Attorney-General, Samson Osagie refuted claims that he engaged in financial infractions alongside the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, which led to his suspension.
