Having built a distinguished career in politics, Kennedy-Ohanenye has long been an advocate for women in leadership. She joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 and made history as the party’s first female presidential aspirant in 2023 before stepping down to support Tinubu.

Her transition into Nollywood has generated buzz, with many eager to see how she blends her political experience with the world of entertainment.

In another development besides the news of Kennedy-Ohanenye becoming an actress, GWG.ng reports that The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has officially announced the next phase of its innovative Contactless Passport Application system, following its successful launch in Canada on November 5, 2024.

The NIS Contactless Passport system, designed to streamline passport renewal processes, will now be available to Nigerians in the Diaspora, beginning with Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

According to a post by the NIS on X, the next roll-out date for these regions is set for February 7, 2025.
