Saidi Balogun has shared his painful journey of loss and struggles, revealing how losing his daughter and facing new challenges left him broken beyond words.

Veteran Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has opened up about the hardships and losses he faced in 2024 and early 2025, describing them as deeply painful experiences.

Sharing his story on Instagram, he posted a photo of himself with a hand injury and reflected on the difficult journey he has endured. The most heartbreaking moment, he revealed, was the loss of his daughter, which left him shattered beyond words.

He wrote, “It has been a tough ride. Last year, February, on my birthday, I was optimistic with laid-out plans, and then came the challenges I never envisioned. The worst of which was losing my precious, loving, and lovable daughter. This broke me in pieces beyond human comprehension.”

Despite the pain, he expressed gratitude to those who supported him during those dark times. However, he shared that just before his birthday this year, he faced another setback.

“I started this year with hope, and then, a few days to my birthday, the devil struck again… For those who have been asking, this is the reason why my birthday shoot had only one hand displayed. All in all, I will keep saying Alhamdulilah, for Allah will never forsake us. Challenges will come to test your strength, so never lose your guard, remain strong and steadfast. May the Almighty be with us all,” he added.

His message served as a reminder to stay resilient and trust in divine strength during difficult times.
