Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has slammed social media users persistently asking about her husband and children, calling them “monitoring spirits.”

Expressing her frustration, Rita Edochie questioned the motive behind the inquiries, insisting that her personal life should not be a topic of discussion for strangers on the internet.

Taking to her social media page, she wrote:

“Everybody has a lifestyle, and if you don’t like mine, too bad. Rita Edochie, where is your husband? Where are your children?

“If all these people asking me this kind of question aren’t monitoring spirits, what have they got to do with knowing about my family?

“Whatever I give you on this internet street should always be your intake. Bring up your family history and see me join to discuss it. Good morning, great lovers of Rita Edochie. I wish y’all a happy Midweek.”

In another development, GWG.ng reports that Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has voluntarily surrendered himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba.

Confirming that Portable surrendered on Wednesday, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the Ogun State Police Command has been notified to take further action regarding the case.

Portable had been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police over an alleged assault on government officials. His surrender marks a significant turn in the ongoing saga.
