Former Campus Pastor In G@y Marriage Responds To Backlash

Former Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF) president at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Jimmy Adekoya, has responded to criticism after news of his same-sex marriage surfaced online.
Reports earlier revealed that Adekoya, who relocated abroad, recently got engaged to his Caucasian partner. Viral photos showed the couple dressed in suits, with Adekoya proudly displaying his engagement ring alongside his husband.
The revelation sent the social media abuzz, with many criticizing him, particularly because of his past leadership role in a Christian fellowship.
Amid the backlash, Adekoya took to social media to address the controversy, stating that his only “offense” was being a gay man who also loves Christ.
“When your only offense is being a gay man who loves Jesus,” he wrote.
