Nigerian Lady Arrested For Allegedly Defrauding Online Donors

A Nigerian woman, Ogechi Okechukwu, has been arrested by security operatives for allegedly soliciting financial assistance online under false pretenses.

Okechukwu, a native of Bayelsa, reportedly reached out to popular Facebook influencer Uwaoma Susan Joseph, who, unaware of the deception, helped raise donations on her behalf.
Her fraudulent activities came to light after security agents uncovered incriminating messages between her and a doctor on her phone, suggesting she had misrepresented her situation to gain sympathy and financial support.

Following her arrest, Okechukwu has been detained as authorities continue their investigation into the alleged scam.
