Reactions As Wizkid And Burna Boy Meet Otedola In Lagos Without Davido

Billionaire Femi Otedola hosted Wizkid and Burna Boy at his Lagos home, sparking online reactions as fans questioned why Davido was absent from the exclusive gathering.
Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola hosted two of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (Wizkid) and Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (Burna Boy), at his home in Lagos.
On Wednesday, Otedola shared photos from the visit on 𝕏, explaining that the purpose of their meeting was to exchange ideas and appreciate the global success of Afrobeats.
The presence of these Afrobeats superstars at Otedola’s residence has sparked a lot of discussion online. Many social media users pointed out that David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, was missing from the gathering. Since Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido are often referred to as the “big three” of Afrobeats, Davido’s absence raised questions.
Posting pictures from the event, Otedola wrote, “A true privilege to host some of our biggest music icons @wizkidayo @burnaboy at my Lagos home. Always inspiring to share ideas and celebrate the global movement that is Afrobeats …F.Ote”
This post led to mixed reactions from fans online.
