Nigerian Lady Shares The Love Note, IPhone 12 A Man Sent To Her

A Nigerian lady has found herself in hot water after a failed attempt to sell two iPhones she allegedly stole from her neighbor—who ironically ended up being the same person approached to help sell the stolen devices.

The bizarre incident, which has gone viral on social media, was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter), who claimed to be a witness to the unfolding drama.

According to the post, the lady reportedly stole two iPhones from her neighbor, a phone repairer, and gave them to her cousin to help sell. Unknown to the cousin, who also lives with her, the devices had been stolen.

In a twist of fate, the unsuspecting cousin took the phones to the very same neighbor—the original owner and phone engineer—seeking his assistance to find a buyer.

“You guys, my friend’s neighbor stole two iPhones from their other neighbor who repairs phones and gave it to her cousin to help her sell (the cousin lives with her),” the witness wrote in the now-viral tweet. “The cousin didn’t know where the phones came from and gave it to the repairer neighbor to help him sell it.”

The phone repairer, upon seeing the phones, was reportedly left stunned as he immediately recognized them as his missing devices. The post suggests he was both confused and shocked by the strange turn of events.

Social media users have reacted with a mix of laughter and disbelief at the irony, flooding the comment section with jokes and commentary about the failed theft and the unexpected reunion between man and machine.

As of now, it’s unclear whether the matter has been reported to the authorities, but the internet certainly isn’t done talking about it.
