Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has called for a rematch with street-hop sensation Portable after losing to him in a highly publicized celebrity boxing match that left him with a dislocated arm.
The flamboyant rapper made the appeal in a viral video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he opened up about the aftermath of the midnight bout and expressed his disappointment over the outcome.
Despite being rushed to the hospital following the intense clash, Speed Darlington appeared defiant and undeterred. In the video, he boasted about his resilience and vowed to return to the ring for a second showdown.
“Portable, I want a rematch. E dey pain me say you carry that money dey go. E dey break my heart,” he said in Pidgin English, visibly pained but determined.
He continued: “You get two experiences before me and you fight. I never enter rain before. I no come from poverty.”
