BREAKING: 6th Term Rep Dumps PDP, Gives Direction To Followers

Oluwole Oke, a six-term member of the House of Representatives from Osun State, has officially left the PDP and urged his followers to also quit the party while he decides his political future.
A member of the House of Representatives, Oluwole Oke, has officially stepped down from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Oke, who has represented the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State for six terms, made this move after consulting with his political associates, friends, and family.
In a letter dated April 16, 2025, addressed to the PDP chairman in Ward 7 of Obokun Local Government Area, Oke announced his resignation. He also confirmed the decision in a brief phone call on Wednesday.
“I have resigned from the PDP,” he stated.
Although he did not reveal which party he plans to join next, the lawmaker encouraged his supporters to also leave the PDP and remain patient as he prepares to unveil his next political direction.
