Al-Hilal Offer Osimhen

Victor Osimhen netted twice in Galatasaray’s 4-1 victory over Sivasspor, reaching 40 goal contributions this season and pushing the team closer to their third straight Turkish Süper Lig title.

Victor Osimhen played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s dominant 4-1 win over Sivasspor, scoring two goals and helping the team maintain their pursuit of a third consecutive Turkish Süper Lig title.

Osimhen was involved in the second and fourth goals of the match, before being substituted for Dries Mertens with 20 minutes remaining.

The 26-year-old striker has now accumulated 40 goal contributions this season, with 33 goals and 7 assists. He has broken his previous record of 31 goals from Napoli’s championship-winning season two years ago. Galatasaray, under coach Okan Buruk, lead the league with 83 points from 32 matches, keeping their title hopes alive.

In Premier League news, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has assured fans that William Saliba is committed to the club, despite ongoing rumors linking him to Real Madrid. “I’m certain, because I had the conversation with Saliba, that he is so happy here,” Arteta said in a press conference on May 2. “He wants to continue with us. I’m quite confident that William is very happy here and that’s the place that he wants to be.”

Saliba, 24, has been a standout performer for Arsenal this season, contributing to 11 clean sheets in 27 Premier League appearances. He has also scored two goals and excelled in the UEFA Champions League, with a passing accuracy of 93.43% and 80 clearances across seven matches.

Despite his importance to Arsenal’s defense, Saliba has attracted attention from Real Madrid, who are reportedly planning a major bid for him this summer. In response, Arsenal is preparing a new contract extension that could see Saliba earn up to €300,000 per week. His current contract with the club runs until 2027.
