NYSC Gives Update On 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has provided an important update regarding the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course, urging prospective corps members and stakeholders to stay informed through official channels.
In a statement released on Monday, the NYSC noted that the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course will officially conclude on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. With this phase wrapping up, attention now turns to preparations for the commencement of Stream II across the 37 NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide.
While the exact date for the next phase of the orientation course is yet to be announced, the NYSC advised prospective corps members, as well as their parents and guardians, to monitor the scheme’s verified social media platforms for timely updates regarding the start of Stream II.
“Prospective Corps Members, parents and guardians are enjoined to continually monitor NYSC Official Social Media channels for updates on the forthcoming exercise, including the commencement date, which will be made public in due course,” the statement read.
The Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, called for calm and understanding as the scheme finalizes arrangements. “The management of the NYSC enjoins prospective Corps Members, their parents, guardians, and all our stakeholders to exercise patience with the Scheme, please,” she added.
The NYSC remains a vital national institution, offering young Nigerian graduates the opportunity to contribute to national development through a year of service. Stream II of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ is expected to accommodate those who were not mobilized in the initial phase.
