How 2 Men Survived Different Plane Crashes On Seat 11A

A strange and emotional coincidence has captured attention after it was revealed that two separate plane crash survivors, 27 years apart, both escaped death while sitting in the exact same seat — 11A.

Thai singer Ruangsak Loychusak, who survived a deadly crash in 1998, has reacted with deep shock upon discovering that the sole survivor of a recent Air India plane crash in 2025 was seated in 11A — the same seat he once occupied during his own near-death experience.

“I had goosebumps when I saw it. The lone survivor of the plane crash in India was sitting in the same seat number as me — 11A. I want to offer my condolences to all those who lost loved ones in the tragedy,” Loychusak wrote in a heartfelt post on Facebook.

In 1998, Loychusak was one of 45 people who made it out alive after Thai Airways flight TG261 crashed in Surat Thani while trying to land in heavy rain. The accident claimed 101 lives out of the 146 onboard when the plane stalled and crashed into a swamp.

Now in 2025, a British national named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, aged 40, was the only person to survive when an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed in Ahmedabad — and he too was sitting in seat 11A.

Loychusak no longer has his boarding pass from 1998, but media records from that time confirm his seat number. Reflecting on his traumatic past, he shared how the crash left long-lasting emotional scars.

“I lived a second life after the crash. For 10 years, I had a hard time flying. My breathing would become difficult even when the air was fine. I didn’t talk much on flights and always stared out of the window. I wouldn’t let anyone close it; it made me feel unsafe,” he said.

He also described how vivid the memories remain.
“The sound of the crash, the smell of burning, even the taste of the swamp water — I remember it all. I carried it with me in silence for years. If I saw dark clouds or a rainstorm outside, I would feel terrible, like I was in hell,” he added.

For many, the fact that two men, in two different decades, both survived fatal crashes while seated in 11A seems more than just chance — it’s a miracle that defies explanation.
