Salah Leads PFA Player Of The Year Nominees List

Following the end of a thrilling season, Salah leads the PFA Player of the Year shortlist, joined by Fernandes, Isak, Mac Allister, and others.
Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool are among six players nominated for the 2025 PFA Players’ Player of the Year award.
Even though Manchester United had a poor season and ended in 15th place in the league, Fernandes still earned his nomination. He managed to score eight goals and assist 10 times.
Salah is hoping to win the award for a record third time. He had a fantastic season, scoring 29 goals and giving 18 assists. His efforts helped Liverpool win the Premier League title. “I’m proud of what we achieved this season,” Salah said.
Another Liverpool player, Alexis Mac Allister, also made the list. He played an important role in the team’s midfield.
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak was also nominated. He scored 27 goals in 42 games and helped his team qualify for the Champions League.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was included for his creative impact on the field, while Arsenal’s Declan Rice was praised for his strong midfield performances.
The winner of the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award will be announced on August 19 in Manchester.
