BREAKING: Pat Utomi Steps Down For Peter Obi As Labour Party Holds Primaries

Professor Pat Utomi, a presidential aspirant under Labour Party on Monday stepped down for his co-contender, Mr Peter Obi, for the ticket of the Labour Party ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

Pat Utomi said he was stepping down to a younger aspirant Peter Obi with the capacity to effect the needed change in the Nigerian system.

He said the time of the liberation of Nigeria has began with the Labour Party primaries.

Another aspirant, 45-year old Joseph Faduri had earlier made his speech but mounted the podium again to also step down for the former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi.

The primary election of Labour Party is currently holding in Asaba the capital of Delta State.

Recall that Mr Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra state and former member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP had earlier left the party(PDP) for Labour Party.

It was reported that Mr Peter Obi’s decision was as a result of a secret plot to disgrace him during PDP primaries.
