A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State, Mr Josiah Omenuwoma, has turned down an appointment from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a Special Assistant (Youth Mobilization) upon the claim of being OBIdient to the aspiration of Peter Obi.

GWG reports that the appointment letter was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Patrick Ukah.

Omenuwoma, however, rejected the letter telling the governor in a letter addressed through the SSG that he rejected the appointment on the basis of his decision to back Peter Obi for the presidency.

GWG reports that Okowa is the vice-presidential candidate of the PDP which has Atiku Abubakar as presidential candidate.

“Once again, I would like to express my gratitude, May God bless you and give you more wisdom and enablement to finish strong on the smart agenda.”

Omenuwoma also took to his Facebook to explain why he could not support the Atiku-Okowa ticket as he affirmed that he had pledged loyalty to be Obidient.

The OBIdient Delta PDP chief explaining why he rejected the appointment from Okowa said: “I choose to be OBIDIENT and I have decided to remain actively OBIDIENT because I strongly believe that Nigeria will be better if Mr Peter Obi is President by 2023.

“I sincerely wish to thank Is Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to have graciously offered me the opportunity to serve and I most grateful to my Caring Big Brother/Friend, Distinguished Leader, My great Supporter and Father to have recommend me, influenced and facilitated the appointment, “Big Bros you don too show me love wen I no fit forget” It’s unfortunate the came at this time that I have actively engaged and Committed myself to the OBIDIENT Movement.
