Keyamo Under Fire After Joining The Shettima Challenge

Minister of state for labour, Festus Keyamo, has come under social media attack after replicating the outfit worn by Kashim Shettima, vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), annual conference in Lagos state.

Keyamo did this to rebuff the reactions that trailed Shettima’s outfit at the event.

Recall that Tinubu’s running mate had stirred massive reactions on social media after he appeared in a suit and sneakers.

GWG reports that, Reno Omokri a former presidential aide knocked Senator Shettima over the dressing which he thought inauspicious and inelegant.

GWG reports that Shettima who represented the flag bearer of the APC, Bola Tinubu at the NBA conference opening was dressed in a suit and tie with a pair of gym shoes stirring scorning reactions from social media users.

In a later development, many Nigerians while mocking Shettima over his outfit launched a social media challenge tagged “Shettima Challenge”, where many social media users mimicked his outfit to the event.

However, in a tweet on Tuesday, Keyamo, spokesman of the APC presidential campaign council, stated that since Nigerians had decided to make Shettima’s NBA outfit an issue, that he “help make them the real issues!”
“Now, since they think the issues of Nigeria are three buttons, a pair of sneakers and a long tie, let’s help make them the real issues!,” the minister tweeted.

Reacting to this, Nigerians took to his comment section to slam him and mock.
