Anthony Joshua  Agrees to Fight Tyson Fury December 3

Anthony Joshua has agreed to the terms laid out by Tyson Fury’s side ahead of WBC fight on December 3.

Joshua’s agency, 258 Management and Matchroom, announced on social media that communication had been halted due to Queen Elizabeth II’s death, and that they were waiting for a response.

Fury recently challenged Joshua to a long-awaited all-British fight, offering the two-time world champion a 60-40 split when it was revealed that a potential undisputed rematch with Oleksandr Usyk would most likely have to wait until 2023.

The 34-year-old initially mentioned November 26 at Wembley or December 3 at Cardiff as possible bout dates.

The Gypsy King made his UK homecoming in April with a sixth-round knockout win over Dillian Whyte at Wembley, and then announced his intention to retire before alerting the WBC at the end of last month that he wished to resume his career.

Joshua, who lost a split decision to Usyk in their rematch last month, joined the WBC rankings at No. 6 on Monday.

The match was supposed to take place in August 2021, but it was canceled after an arbitration judge ruled that Deontay Wilder was legally entitled to a third fight versus Fury, which the American heavyweight would go on to lose by 11th-round knockout.
