Comrade Adewale: The Bullion vans missed their way into Tinubu's house

The organising secretary of the APC in Lagos State, Comrade Adewale Ayodele has rekindled the mystique about government spokesman, Lai Mohammed after he stunned Nigerians on Thursday with his claim that the bullion vans that came to the Bourdillion Road residence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu missed their way.

GWG.ng reports that Ayodele during an interview with the crew of Arise News Television on Thursday had claimed that the bullion vans that were found in Tinubu’s residence belonged to some banks and that they missed their way.

He had said:

“That matter has been put to rest. The bullion van that even came missed their address to have come there. They missed their address to come there.

“I was in the house on that very day. The bullion van missed the address to have come there.”

Responding to him on Thursday and Friday, many Nigerians took to social media to dub him as the new Lai Mohammed, the minister of information who had won a reputation in the eyes of the public for his unbelievable tales on the Buhari government and the nuances of the preceeding Jonathan government.

GWG.ng reports that one of the most famous lines of Lai Mohammed was the claim that Boko Haram had been degraded and that no local government in the country is under the control of the insurgent group.

Responding to Ayodele, Nigerians reacted thus:

FS Yusuf @FS_Yusuf_

I had to watch twice to ensure it wasn’t Lai Mohammed that made that devilish lie that the “Bourdillon Van missed its way into Tinubu’s house.”

Because I use to think it’s only Lai that can pull that stunt. Shockingly, they are many in APC

I thought we’ve seen the worst of APC
