Naira Scarcity: Yul Edochie Cautions Nigerians Destroying ATM

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has warned Nigerians against the trend of destroying bank Automated Teller Machines ATM over naira scarcity. 

Recall that since protests broke out in some states across the country, following the Naira policy, many Nigerians took to the streets to vent their anger as well as destroy government and bank facilities.

In a post shared on Instagram, the actor cum politician said damaging bank properties in the country is not the solution to the current situation.

Yul Edochie assured Nigerians that the present difficult time shall pass and destroying ATMs only mean fewer machines to dispense cash which will also cause more difficulty in accessing money.

He added that Nigerians will also suffer the damages of the destroyed ATMs, hence, people should be guided.

He wrote: “No matter how angry you are about the Naira situation, destroying ATM machines is not the answer. The fewer machines we have the more difficult it is to get money. N we go still suffer am. Let’s be guided. This time shall pass
