Tiwa Savage Confirms Kidnap Attempt, Suspects In Police Net

Popular singer, Tiwa Savage has confirmed reports of a security breach at her residence which was widely reported by some reputable online media channels including GWG.ng as a kidnap attempt.

Tiwa Savage confirmed the alleged kidnap attempt on her Instagram handle in the form of a statement issued by her management, Everything Savage Limited and dated Friday, April 14, 2023.

The statement reads: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.

“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.

“Ms Savage and her family are safe and well,” the management said as it confirmed the kidnap attempt.

GWG.ng reports that several online media channels had earlier on Friday published news of an alleged attempt to kidnap Tiwa Savage with the reports quoting a statement issued by self-acclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo.

According to Kemi Olunloyo, Tiwa Savage’s new driver was reported to have provided information about her movement known to some other co-conspirators, but luckily for Tiwa Savage, all the people in the kidnap attempt have all been arrested and handed to the police.
