VIDEO: Popular Street DJ, ‘Chicken’ Beaten To Stupour

A video of popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Chicken, being brutally beaten by unknown individuals has surfaced online.

According to reports, DJ Chicken’s ordeal was orchestrated by a popular socialite, Abu Abel.

DJ Chicken had allegedly ridiculed the socialite during one of his live sessions on Instagram where he belittled him and stated that he amounts to nothing. In reaction, Abu Abel lured the disc jockey to a location where he was met by the socialite’s gang.

He was beaten mercilessly with plank and every object in sight after which he was made to retract his statement and apologize to Abu Abel on a live-streaming session.

In the viral video, DJ Chicken was heard begging Abu Abel, saying in Yoruba, ‘I am your son’ as the group of boys assaulted him asking him to lie down.

Meanwhile, the embattled disc jockey was recently thrown out of an event for constituting a nuisance.

According to reports, the incident happened in the Oyo State during a recent show.

The internet sensation reportedly drank a variety of unknown liquid substances while performing which intoxicated him and subsequently went berserk.

In the viral video, DJ Chicken could be seen being escorted off the stage as he continued to create a scene in the vicinity.
