“I Now Charge $100k For A Feature” Davido Reveals

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, the award-winning Afrobeat artist, has disclosed how much he charges for a feature act.

In a recent interview, the music star claimed that instead of featuring international artists for free, he is now charging them. Davido revealed that his current fee is $100,000 (N46M) plus a video.

“Nigga I am charging now, yea I am charging now. I am sending my lawyers. If I know you $100k”. Davido revealed the expensive sum he spent on his latest record a few weeks ago.

The Grammy-winning singer acknowledged in an interview that his previous album, “A Better Time,” cost close to $2 million. Davido added that he spent 300,000 on his new album and has made triple in profit. Despite the exorbitant amount he has spent, he is grateful that African music is improving.

“My last album, I probably spent $ 2 million. I even spent 300,000 on this album and I made more in 3 days. It just shows me the level African music is going to. Things change”.

This wasn’t surprising as Davido revealed he paid a hefty amount to shoot a music video for one of the songs in his new album with TG Omori.
