Pastor Tunde Bakare Blasts Mohbad Over His Pact With ‘Evil Men’
Famous Nigerian Pastor and politician, Tunde Bakare, delivered a stern sermon in Leicester, United Kingdom, where he expressed condemnation for the late Nigerian artiste, Mohbad, professionally known as Ilerioluwa Aloba.
During his sermon, Pastor Bakare lamented Mohbad’s lifestyle choices, particularly his indulgence in drinking and smoking with individuals he described as “evil men.”
Addressing a congregation at the 2nd anniversary of The Envoy Nation, Pastor Bakare focused on the theme of ‘Harvest.’ He cited the case of Mohbad as an example of someone who may have reaped the consequences of their actions.
In his sermon, Pastor Bakare stated, “My wife and I listened to a tape last night on MohBad. How many of you know MohBad? The Nigerian artiste who died at 27? MohBad. When he was drinking and smoking and associating with evil men, he did not know that the harvest would come so soon and that he would soon be cut down at the prime of youth. I am not blaming him, I am just telling you. Is MohBad a good name? Moh Bad.”
He continued by recounting another individual’s story who went by the nickname “Eshu” (devil) and emphasized the unforeseen consequences of one’s actions. The individual faced a tragic car accident, leading to the loss of lives, and was incarcerated.
As Nigerians continue to mourn the death of Mohbad, Pastor Tunde Bakare’s remarks have sparked discussions and reflections among the public, highlighting the impact of one’s lifestyle choices and the potential consequences they may face.
