MultiChoice Hikes Subscription, DSTV Premium Service Now Available At National Minimum Wage
MultiChoice, operators of the country’s main DSTV operator has announced yet another hike in its tariff making its premium service to be available at N29,500, just below the present national minimum wage.
GWG.ng reports that the price adjustment was communicated late on Saturday by the company and it is to take effect from Monday.
Multi-Choice CEO in a letter effecting the price adjustments wrote:
Dear Valued Customer,
Price Adjustment on DStv and GOtv Packages
On Monday November 6, 2023 we will adjust our prices across all our packages on DStv and GOtv.
We understand the impact this change may have on you – our valued customer, but the rise in the cost of business operations, has led us to make this difficult decision.
It remains our mission to provide the best entertainment and viewing experience to you and are committed to continue to deliver high-quality content and unparalleled service.
So, from Monday, 6 November 2023, the price adjustment will take effect as follows:
