Celebrities Hail Salawa Abeni Over ‘Nude Pics Affair’

Some of Nigeria’s leading celebrities have commended veteran musician, Salawa Abeni for her action in damming a blackmailer over his threats to release her semi-nude pictures unless he was paid off.

Abeni, 59, damned the blackmailer named Jason by releasing the pictures obviously taken in a hospital environment many years ago.

The action of the Queen of Waka music has earned her applause from many Nigerians, who took to the social media to commend her for taking the bold step of reporting the blackmail first to her family, friends and fans, before the blackmailer could do any harm.

Entertainment celebrities like Tolu Oniru (Toolzo), Ronke Oshodi Old, Saidi Balogun, Rita Dominic, Bizzle Osikoya, Sulaimon Adekunle (Ks 1 Malaika) among others sent out strong words of encouragement and commendation to the veteran musician.
