Celebrated Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, is brimming with excitement after American rap mogul Rick Ross hinted at a collaboration with him and other African artistes in 2024.

In a new development, Rick Ross extended a shout-out to Portable, along with Odumodublvck, Amaarea, Uncle Waffles, and other talented African artistes, revealing plans for a collaboration on his upcoming album titled ‘Champagne Moments.’

The announcement comes on the heels of Portable’s recent headline-making inclusion in British rapper Skepta’s forthcoming single, “Tony Montana.”

Rick Ross, a 48-year-old rap icon known for his global collaborations, has previously worked with prominent African artistes such as P-Square, Yemi Alade, and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz.

Portable, visibly elated by the acknowledgment, shared a video of Rick Ross mentioning his name and expressed gratitude to the U.S. rapper. In a social media post, he wrote, “@richforever We love you too.”
