Renowned Afrobeat performer Seun Kuti has taken to his social media platforms to express concerns about his safety, claiming that unidentified individuals are attempting to harm him for speaking what he perceives as the “truth.”

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the outspoken musician disclosed the challenges he is facing, including numerous court cases and police invitations over the years. Seun Kuti, who is no stranger to controversy, asserted that he is engaged in various undisclosed “wars” alone.

“I will reveal it here today. They want to silence me for this country. I can’t tell you how many wars I am fighting alone. I can’t tell you how many cases in court for nothing, how many police invitations left, right and center for nothing. For just saying the truth, everybody is inviting the police on me,” Kuti stated in the video.
