Coronavirus Absent In 12 States (See List)

Following the COVID-19 update of Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, for 20th April 2020, twelve out of thirty-six states have been confirmed not to have recorded any incident of COVID-19.
The 12 states are:
1. Ebonyi
2. Cross River
3. Kebbi
4. Nasarawa
5. Imo
6. Kogi
7. Plateau
8. Yobe
9. Zamfara
10. Bayelsa
11. Taraba
12. Adamawa
In some of the aforementioned states, Covid-19 tests have been carried out on collected blood samples. In Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello said no test of Covid-19 yet in the state, noting that a mobile app has been launched to track those with the virus.
However, two states – Rivers and Enugu had discharged two Covid-19 patients apiece, leaving them with no case of Covid-19, but still remain in the NCDC list of Covid-19 confirmed cases by states distribution.
On 20th April, 2020, three states had their first cases of Covid-19 – Gombe, Sokoto and Abia, raising the number of states with Covid-19 to 25, including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Nigeria has confirmed 665 cases of Covid-19, discharged 188, and recorded 22 deaths.
Lagos tops the list of states with Covid-19 with 56.5% of the total confirmed cases in the country, followed by Abuja accounted for 13.4%, Kano has 8.9%.
