Seven States Untouched As COVID-19 Lands Ebonyi
91 New Cases Take Total To 1,273
The COVID-19 pandemic spread to Ebonyi State on Sunday after a transporter was reported to have brought it to the state after a business trip to Ondo State.
The index case in Ebonyi was among 91 new cases that were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in a tweet on its website early on Monday.
The development meant that the pandemic has touched 29 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT with event states unscathed.
The seven states untouched by the pandemic as at Sunday, April 26 were Cross River, Bayelsa, Yobe, Taraba, Kogi, Kebbi and Nasarawa
The new cases brought the total number of cases in the country to 1,273 cases with Kano which has reported strange deaths in the past week not reporting.
