China Began Developing Covid-19 Vaccines Way Before Outbreak – Report

Indications have emerged that China started producing Covid-19 vaccinations prior to the official notification of an outbreak according to investigations carried out by the United States Senate.

A 300-page report assembled by the US Senate, suggested that Chinese researchers began developing a vaccine program in mid-November 2019.

It strengthens the case that the nation made an effort to hide early infections before the World Health Organization (WHO) was notified on December 31.

The investigation also comes to the conclusion that a lab leak and a “research-related incident” in Wuhan were the most likely causes of the epidemic.

Furthermore, it raises the possibility of two unintentional spillover incidents occurring just a few weeks apart. The complete text of a 35-page report published in October by the Senate Health, Education, Labour and Pensions Committee was made available to US news website Axios.

The report reads: ‘This investigation found evidence that China began SARS-CoV-2 virus vaccine development no later than November 2019.

‘To begin building a vaccine construct, developers had to have the full genomic sequence of SARS-CoV-2. The full genomic sequence of SARS-CoV-2 was not publicly released until January 11, 2020.

‘Normally, a sample from an infected patient is used to generate the sequence. Alternatively, a sample from an infected animal could be used.

‘Therefore, to begin vaccine development, the People’s Republic of China had to have found a human or animal infected with SARS-CoV-2 prior to mid-November 2019 in order to have time to decide to initiate a vaccine development program.’

It adds that epidemiological modelling and reports of early Covid cases indicate that mid-October to mid-November 2019 was the most likely timeframe for the virus entering humans.

However, it did not offer a ‘definitive’ conclusion on the origin of the pandemic.
