Boy mauled pit bull mother boyfriend

A 6-year-old boy was brutally attacked by a pit bull while being restrained with handcuffs in Ashland County, Ohio, in a harrowing incident that has shocked the community.

The attack occurred on the evening of August 17, 2024, when the boy was visiting his mother, Angelina Williams, and her boyfriend, Taylor Desiree Marvin-Brown. According to reports, the child was handcuffed as a form of “corporal punishment” before the dog mauled him.

The boy’s uncle, Robert Michalski Jr., who owned both the dog and the residence where the attack took place, was also involved in the incident.

Investigators revealed that the boy was not only handcuffed but also tied to a chair with rope when the pit bull attacked, causing severe lacerations to his neck and massive bleeding.

A 911 call was made at 5:06 p.m., during which a woman can be heard saying the boy “just got bit in the side of the neck by a dog.”

First responders arrived promptly and facilitated the boy’s transportation to a hospital by helicopter. He was later released from the hospital and is currently recovering under the care of his paternal aunt, Kydhatha Castellano, who is his legal guardian.

Castellano expressed her shock and sorrow over the incident, recounting how the boy told her, “It was because I was crying, and he didn’t like that I was crying.”

All three adults involved—Williams, Marvin-Brown, and Michalski—have been arrested and face multiple felony charges, including endangering children and obstructing justice.
