Analysis of Top Managers Facing Criticism
Fabian Hürzeler’s position as the most criticized manager is notable given Brighton’s relatively strong season, currently sitting sixth in the Premier League and with Hürzeler earning the PL ‘Manager of the Month’ in August. Despite this, fan dissatisfaction has surged, with 886 Reddit posts contributing to over 20,000 profane words, and ‘hate’ cited more than 5,499 times.

Sean Dyche at Everton ranks third in online criticism. Since taking over in 2023, Dyche has faced mixed results with 92 wins, 86 draws, and 145 losses. Fans’ dissatisfaction was evident in 12,769 posts containing 278,413 words of profanity. The most common terms included ‘hate’ (70,867 mentions), ‘disappointed’ (48,675 mentions), and ‘angry’ (45,684 mentions).
