Nigerian Woman Mauled To Death By Hungry Dogs

A 27-year-old Nigerian woman, Patricia Masithela, tragically lost her life after being attacked by a pack of starving dogs in Latina, Italy.

The incident happened late Monday night when Patricia visited an abandoned villa in the Lazio region to see a male acquaintance, unaware that he was not at home.

Her screams echoed through the night, alerting neighbors to the horrific attack. Patricia was later found severely injured, lying in a pool of blood with deep wounds all over her body.

The police intervened, and according to reports, they “shot two of the dogs to allow emergency responders to access the scene, while the rest of the pack fled after the gunfire.”

Emergency responders treated Patricia at the scene and rushed her to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, “she succumbed to severe bite wounds and excessive blood loss.”

Patricia, who was a devoted mother to her five-year-old daughter, left her loved ones in unimaginable grief.

Investigations are ongoing to determine how the starving dogs came to be in the area. The tragic event has sparked discussions among residents about public safety and stray animals, with many calling for “stricter measures to prevent such devastating incidents.”
