How To Check WAEC Result, 81,718 Candidates Blacked Out

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Monday released the results of the 2020 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) but with 5% of the results withheld.
WAEC’s head of national office, Patrick Areghan, made this known on Monday in Lagos State.
According to Areghan, 1,549,740 candidates registered for the examination, while 1,003, 668 candidates representing 65.24 per vent obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
While 86.99 per cent obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects, with or without English Language and/or Mathematics.
He also said 81,718 candidates, representing 5.31 per cent have a few of their subjects still being processed due to some errors on the part of the candidates.
Quick Steps to check your results
Step 1: Visit https://www.waecdirect.org the result portal.
Step 2: Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the provided column.
Step 3: Select your Examination Year
Step 4: Select your Examination Type (Private candidate or school candidate)
Step 5: Enter the Card Serial Number
Step 6: Enter the Card PIN
Step 7: Click the “Submit” option to see your result.
