Akwa Ibom 2023: Wait Your Turn, APC Nat. Sec. Tells Youths

The National Secretary of All Progressives Congress, Senator John Akpanudoedhe has admonished youths in the state to wait their turn as he makes his bid for the 2023 governorship contest of the state.

Speaking on the occasion of his 57^th birthday, the APC’s national secretary urged party stakeholders interested in the 2023 ticket of the party to stop wasting their time as he affirmed that the ticket was his for the taking.

He spoke with media men at the NUJ Secretariat, Uyo.

“When I led opposition in Akwa Ibom State many years ago, those who were fighting me were in PDP.

“Now all those who were fighting me are now in APC and they have perfected their plans to fight me again even in APC that they hated.”

While upbraiding the youths for trying to outsmart the elders, Akpanudoedehe said:

“When I became the chairman of the Uyo Local Governmrnt Area at the age of 33 , I never disrespect my elders. As a Senator, I was the Chairman Senate Committee on Privatisation without smiting my elders. Why should the youths  plan to bench their elders now?”
